I must add that some of these are of great help in rendering a song to people as i need not go through the printed notations in cases where those aren't readily available.

Hemant Da sang some of the memorable jewels. 'Na Hum tumhe jaane' and 'Bekaraar karke humme' are true master pieces. No where it appears that a bengali is singing in Hindi.
I intend to learn Bengali to further savour the fragrance of Hemanth da by listening to bengali songs.
